Reindeer Gingerbread-man

Engage: Discuss Reindeer http://safesha.re/2vtp and Sing Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer.
Explore: On a blue or purple background for sky and students glue white dots and snowflakes in their picture.
Explain: Students add a brown half circle for a body for their reindeer. Students then turn a gingerbread man upside down to create the reindeers head. Students add a reindeer nose either black or red. Google eyes on the face.
Elaborate: With a crayon students draw a mouth, eyebrows, ears, and antlers. Students create decorations on the antlers.
Assessment:
Evaluate: Students discuss their reindeers and their primary colors and secondary colors.

- I can learn how to color in neatly.
- I can learn about complementary colors.
- I will learn about complementary colors adding them as ordainments on the reindeer's antlers.
