Explain: Students draw a dot. Students then add two diagonal lines in the shape of a v on their paper. Elaborate: Students will then fraction off their V in three sections. Creating a horizontal line at the top for the head section. In the middle of the paper students will create a horizontal line for their waist line. At the bottom student add two big curved lines by their shoes. The students create their self-portrait in proportion creating a worm’s I view where the feet will have emphasis. Students elaborate by adding grass flowers and bugs next to their feet. Students color in their drawing adding details Assessment: Students add artwork to artsonia and create an artist statement.
