Dinosaur in the City

Instructional Plan:
Engage: Listen to the Read Aloud If Dinosaurs came back.
Explore: Show to draw a cityscape.
Explain: Show how to create a stamp on their paper for their dinosaurs. Talk about the dinosaurs that we have stamps for them to use.
Elaborate:
Students color in the landscape. Students come to the teacher table to create their dinosaur stamps.
Assessment:
Evaluate: Students add their dinosaurs picture to artsonia and discussing the dinosaur they choose and the patterns and texture they drew on the dinosaur.
- I can be able to create lines and shapes to form a cityscape.
- I can be able to identify dinosaurs as an extinct animal from the past.
- I can be able to arrange lines intuitively to create a dinosaur.
- I will learn about textures by adding patterns in the app to their dinosaur.
- I will create a horizon line by drawing a horizontal green line 2 inches from the bottom of their paper.
